Vodavi Technology Inc., (Nasdaq:VTEK), a provider of
traditional and next-generation business telecommunications solutions, Tuesday
announced the introduction of MiniVoice, the newest member of Vodavi's voice
processing product line.
     A non-proprietary, entry-level solution
designed to streamline business communications, MiniVoice provides business
users of Vodavi's STARPLUS(R), STARPLUS(R) TRIAD and infinite(R) DVXPlus key
telephone systems with a low-cost, analog voice mail system with auto
attendant features and message storage.
     Targeted at small businesses
looking for a voice mail application that is simple and reliable, MiniVoice is
a 4-port high-performance voice processing system with 32 mailboxes and up to
1.5 hours of message storage.
MiniVoice also offers an expansion board
providing businesses with an additional three hours of storage and 32 extra
mailboxes; for a total of 4.5 hours of message storage and 64 mailboxes.
MiniVoice is scheduled for commercial availability on March 28, 2001.

According to Steve Borcich, Vodavi's vice president of sales and marketing,
"Vodavi primarily serves the business communication needs of
organizations with less than 200 employees, the fastest-growing business
sector comprising over 85 percent of U.S. businesses.
     "MiniVoice
fills a need in our product offering and is a perfect fit for businesses
needing an entry-level, non-proprietary voice mail system that includes the
most frequently used and most popular features at an extremely attractive
price point."
Borcich added, "We are extremely proud to prove
once again that Vodavi is in the business of providing total solutions, and we
are highly committed to developing a range of feature-rich and price
competitive communications products for our small- and medium-size business
customers."

     MiniVoice Features Aren't Puzzling

     MiniVoice
offers a host of user-friendly features, such as time and date stamp, password
protection, message wait light and message routing. In addition, DTMF
Administrative Programming allows users to retrieve messages and change their
voice mail parameters from any touch-tone phone. Another convenient feature is
that MiniVoice can be programmed to alert users on their pager when they have
a new voice mail message.
The MiniVoice auto attendant allows callers to
bypass the menu of recorded extensions and simply dial the extension they wish
to reach. This expedites the call, giving callers the information they need as
quickly as possible.
Users needing a more robust voice processing
application with higher port capacity and access to a greater number of
features can select Vodavi's TalkPath, Dispatch and PathFinder
products.

     Pricing and Availability

     MiniVoice is scheduled for
commercial availability on March 28, 2001 through authorized STARPLUS,
STARPLUS TRIAD and infinite dealers. MiniVoice will retail for less than
$1,000.
